Armando Salguero of FOX News has reported that the Dolphins have opened trade talks with five teams: the Rams, Falcons, Lions, Commanders, and Eagles. However, trading Ramsey before June 1 would result in a significant cap hit for Miami.

“The issue is the $25.2M Miami would have to swallow in dead cap if the trade happens before June 1,” Salguero said. “So any team wanting to make this trade now might be asked to provide the Dolphins with some cap relief on that number.”
