Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has claimed he can’t catch COVID-19, playing down all the things said about the illness. During a press conference on Wednesday, the NFL player explained there is mutual respect between him and the disease and neither party wants to mess up with the other.

Last week he was sent home by the Cleveland Browns ahead of their Thursday practice. OBJ set the alarms for his team, which tested him before he went home to make sure he didn’t have the disease that has killed over 200,000 Americans so far.

“I think we’ve been on high alert,” Kevin Stefanski explained via Zoom. “I think that’s just 2020. We just make sure that we’re following every protocol there is and keep everybody safe.

Even though this disease has touched POTUS himself, Beckham doesn’t seem to be too worried about it and claims he doesn’t want to deal with the coronavirus and the illness has the same feelings for him.

“Not in an arrogant way, I just don’t think COVID can get to me,” he said. “I don’t think it’s going to get into this body. I don’t want no parts of it, it don’t want no parts of me. It’s a mutual respect.

Well, this is just Odell being Odell, somehow trash-talking a global pandemic, saying it doesn’t want to mess with him. Imagine having that kind of confidence.
