Puka Nacua is well aware of the immense talent the Los Angeles Rams have—talent that has helped them reach the NFL Playoffs in back-to-back seasons. Despite the significant loss of Cooper Kupp, the wide receiver issued a warning to opponents about what this team is capable of achieving in 2025.

In a recent interview published on Forbes.com, the former BYU standout responded after being asked whether making the playoffs adds extra confidence to the team—and if he still believes they can reach another Super Bowl this season.

“100%. We got a great young core and we continue to bring back most of our pieces, and we’ve had some great new additions,” Nacua firmly stated.

He also added: “With Coach McVay leading the squad, there’s no doubt in anybody’s mind over here, with the energy and the enthusiasm that he brings to the team meetings into this football organization is unmatched. We’re steady building the pieces right now, our foundation to go all the way through February.”

The significance of Davante Adams’ arrival to the Rams

The unexpected departure of Cooper Kupp during this free agency prompted the Rams’ front office to act swiftly. After some negotiations, they successfully secured the arrival of Davante Adams, who joins from the New York Jets.

Regarding this situation, Nacua spoke about the opportunity to share a roster with one of the most accomplished and respected receivers in the league. He expressed his intention to learn as much as possible from Adams while they are together on the Rams.

“He’s been around the league, so the knowledge that he has is also not from this offense,” Nacua said of Adams. “It’s been fun to kind of get some stuff that isn’t common knowledge over here in the Rams organization, because he’s been in different places. It’s been fun to hear how he’s been communicating with Coach McVay and how he’s been communicating with us.”

How to reach a new Super Bowl

Puka Nacua knows that reaching a Super Bowl is no easy feat, but he believes he has one of the answers as to why they haven’t been able to achieve it with the Rams in recent years.

“Limiting our self-inflicted wounds,” the WR started. “Some of the penalties that we have throughout the season, where they may not impact that game, and you still end up winning the game and having some holding calls or having a false start. How pivotal those can be in a playoff game when you’re in the crunch time moments, and some of those things happen.”

He also added: “I know that I can speak for myself of limiting drops. There are times where Matthew Stafford can put the ball anywhere on the football field, and my job is to catch the ball. To go out there and catch every pass he throws is my goal. I know that I can improve in that way. Everybody else on the Rams offense is always doing their job. If I do my job, I know we’ll be ready to beat anybody.”
