Tyreek Hill makes strong promise to Dolphins fans regarding Jalen Ramsey

The Miami Dolphins are aiming to be a tough contender in the AFC East, and they’re counting on offensive star Tyreek Hill to play a pivotal role in that push. Head coach Mike McDaniel‘s squad is facing a major storyline this offseason, centered around standout cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who is reportedly looking to explore new opportunities across the league.

While nothing has been officially confirmed regarding the future of one of the league’s most impactful defensive players, sources close to the situation suggest that the departure of the former Super Bowl champion with the Rams from South Florida is all but inevitable.

If the move does materialize, it would undoubtedly be a significant blow for a team with serious playoff aspirations. Despite the swirling rumors, many within the organization remain hopeful they can convince Ramsey to stay — including none other than Tyreek Hill.

Hill confident he can convince Ramsey to stay in Miami

It won’t be an easy task, as Jalen Ramsey has repeatedly expressed his desire to leave the Dolphins and seek a new path this offseason. Even so, his teammate Tyreek Hill remains confident he can persuade the CB to run it back one more time and help Tua Tagovailoa in what promises to be a pivotal campaign.

“I’m going to hang out with Ramsey next week,” Hill Hill shared during an interview at Fanatics Fest. “I’m getting Ramsey back in a Dolphins jersey… I don’t care what they say.”

Turning Ramsey’s decision doesn’t seem to be easy. Still, the star wide receiver is determined to deliver on his bold promise to Dolphins fans — to keep Ramsey in Miami.

Ramsey’s value to Hill

There’s no doubt Hill wants to keep Ramsey on the roster, not only because of the strong bond they share off the field but also because of what the cornerback brings to the team. Miami aims to be a contender, and retaining Ramsey would give McDaniel’s squad a significant boost in talent and depth.

“He’s a dog,” Hill said of Ramsey. “He’s one of the best corners in the league, man. Great leader. Great teammate too, though. So, that’s what he doesn’t get a lot of credit for, man. We need him on the Dolphins.”
