Diego Armando Maradona died of a heart attack at his home in Buenos Aires at the age of 60. Celebrities and athletes from around the world posted messages of condolences addressed to the Argentine star and his family on their social media accounts.

24. Maradona wears the Independiente kit
Diego Maradona wore the Independiente kit to play a friendly match at the home of the former Buenos Aires governor, Daniel Scioli. He played the game with his son-in-law at the time, Sergio Agüero, and Erik Lamela. Maradona was a great admirer of Ricardo Bochini, the idol of Independiente, and a creative midfielder like him.
