“The player will follow a conservative treatment plan. While he will miss the remainder of the league season, he is expected to be fit for the World Cup,“ Barcelona noted. The injury occurred moments after Yamal converted a penalty against Celta de Vigo. After drawing a foul in the area, Yamal stepped up to clinicaly finish the spot-kick; however, he immediately clutched his left leg in visible distress and signaled to the bench for medical attention.
