Bryce James is set to start his college basketball career with the Arizona Wildcats, but LeBron James’ son isn’t the only high-profile name trying to make a good impression on fans this upcoming season.

James will share touches with Koa Peat, the No. 8 recruit in the 2025 class, per On3’s Industry Rankings, to try to take the Wildcats to the national championship.

Peat’s presence has fans buzzing and his brother, Keona Peat, who is a football player for the Arizona State Sun Devils, is excited to see what Koa will bring to the table. Keona Peat shared a collab post from the Instagram page of Arizona Athletics and Arizona Football to hype him and his brother up, adding a three-word message: “My brother’s keeper,” Peat wrote.

Koa Peat, considered the 10th-best prospect in the 2025 class by ESPN, had multiple offers on the table. Besides the Wildcats, he got offers from Baylor, Houston and Texas. More than that, he could have followed his brother to the Sun Devils and signed with Arizona State, but Koa decided to take a different path.

Discussing the opportunity to play with his brother in Arizona, Koa Peat didn’t mince words. He expressed his excitement for the challenges ahead.

“It’s pretty cool, we always wanted to go to the same high school. We didn’t go to the same high school or anything, so to be able to go to the same college with my best friend, honestly, is really cool, I’m happy he is here, and I’m happy for him, and hopefully he’ll have a great season,” Peat said, per Sportskeeda.
