The Milwaukee Brewers are closely monitoring Jacob Misiorowski’s performance from the mound this season. His four wins and just one decision loss speak volumes about the pitcher’s potential contributions to the organization. However, a recent report indicates a significant decision the team must make regarding him.

According to a report from Francys Romero, there is genuine interest from the Brewers to do everything possible to offer an extension to Misiorowski, whose contract runs until the end of the season. The initial offer reportedly did not meet the young pitcher’s expectations or those of his representatives.

“The Milwaukee Brewers are interested in working on a contract extension for star rookie Jacob Misiorowski, according to industry sources. They made an offer earlier in the 2025 season, but they’re still far apart from what Misiorowski and his agency are looking for,” Romero reported on X.

What is Misiorowski’s Current Salary with the Brewers?

For the current season, Jacob Misiorowski is slated to earn $445,374, according to Spotrac. However, it’s important to note he received a $2.3 million signing bonus in 2022. Technically, he’s still under a rookie contract, and he’s expected to command a much larger deal next year if the Brewers successfully sign him to a new MLB extension.

Misiorowski is not the only Brewers pitcher on a smaller contract looking to negotiate a bigger deal. Quinn Priester is also in a similar situation, having a strong season (7-2 record) while currently being under contract only until the end of the season.

Future for the Brewers

Securing Misiorowski for more seasons should be the primary objective for the front office. While they’ll need to analyze other contracts, his impressive 2.81 ERA this season is certainly enough to warrant strong consideration for an extension.
