In the Mets’ recent 8-1 win over the San Francisco Giants, Lindor went 3-for-5, demonstrating the kind of offensive versatility and patience that his team sorely needs. The confidence of Mets manager Carlos Mendoza and the support of the hitting staff appear to be fueling his resurgence.
“His ability to use the whole field, and going the other way, that’s when he’s at his best,” Mendoza said after the game, according to SNY. “Some really good signs and it’s good to have him feeling that way.”

Lindor himself attributed his success to a clear game plan and rhythm in his swing. “I got rhythm. I feel good. I did what I wanted to do today. Had a game plan and was able to execute it. That means my swing is in a good spot. Stay the course, continue to be better every day.”
