It seems like a day doesn’t go in Major League Baseball without Trevor Bauermaking the news. Either because of his stellar pitching for the Cincinnati Reds or for his sarcastic and hilarious remarks on social media.

Bauer is coming off a career-year and is going to headline an otherwise boring free agent pitchers class, joining Taljuan Walker, Marcus Stroman, and Masahiro Tanaka as the lone big fish in the offseason.

That’s why everybody’s constantly looking him up and trying to keep up to date with his antics on social media, and why he makes the most to tease and make fun of every single fan base on earth.

Bauer was in his bag last night when he teased Yankees’ fans during their blowout loss to the Rays, suggesting that the team could use another starting pitcher after seeing Tanaka struggle so much:

Kinda looks like the@yankeescould use some more starting pitching. Interesting,” Bauer tweeted as soon as the Aaron Boone’s team allowed 3 more runs in the top of the sixth inning vs. the Rays.

And just when Yankees fans thought they had reeled in another big fish to wear Pinstripes, Bauer did exactly the same thing for the San Diego Padres after the Los Angeles Dodgers opened up their lead:

“This year’s@Padres team is scary. Imagine what that offense, defense, and attitude could look like next year with a stable of elite starting pitchers,Bauer tweeted while posting a winking face emoji.

Bauer is clearly messing with us right now and he’s definitely going to do this a couple of more times in the upcoming months. But all jokes aside, both of those teams could definitely use another ace on their rotations.
