Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies are enjoying a strong regular season. Meanwhile, one of Harper’s teammates just reached a major milestone, surpassing New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge in a notable home run stat.

Judge has been a key figure for the Yankees this season. Following Juan Soto’s departure to the crosstown rivals, Judge stepped into a leadership role, continuing to match and even break records dating back nearly a century.

Against the Rockies on Monday night, Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber joined elite company with a memorable performance. His home run marked the 300th of his career, placing him ahead of Judge and legends such as Mark McGwire, Adam Dunn, and Harmon Killebrew.

What makes Schwarber’s milestone particularly remarkable is how quickly he reached it. He became the player with the fewest career hits, just 949, to reach 300 home runs, surpassing Judge, who needed 988 hits to reach the same mark.
