The 2021 NBA All-StarGame reserves were announced and just like every year, a lot of fans were unhappy with the lists for both conferences. Not only fans but players showed their disagreement with some of the names selected to take part in the big game.

A lot of people made the case for Devin Booker, Domantas Sabonis, and Fred VanVleet to name a few, but it was the Phoenix Suns guard who earned the most attention. He has been doing a great job with his team, making them a competitive one alongside Chris Paul in the Western Conference.

Yet, head coaches didn’t believe he was worthy of an All-Star spot this season, and Book will have to wait another season to play in his second ASG. Just like fans, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James reacted to this snub and he was anything but happy with it.

LeBron James shows support to Devin Booker after All-Star snub

The King took to Twitter to express his discontent with Booker not getting selected to the upcoming All-Star Game, describing him as the ‘most disrespected player’ in the NBA right now. He also mentioned Damian Lillard, thought to be a lock for an All-Star starting spot but also snubbed off that list.

“Devin Booker is the most disrespected player in our league!!! Simple as that. Followed by Dame Dolla,” LBJ wrote on Twitter.

These decisions will always bring controversy but it looks like people are closer this year and prior ones. The young guard is having a terrific season with the Suns and getting named an All-Star was the perfect confirmation of that.

Booker now will have to see the game from home and wait for his chance next season. He’s playing really well right now and we’re pretty sure he would prefer making it to the postseason before playing in the All-Star Game.
