The 2019-2020 NBA season will restart on July 30 at a single-site campus at World Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and everybody knows that LeBron James will be one of the league's best players again. With 17 NBA career year and always playing at an MVP level, James will compete for the collective success with Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron, who leads the league with a career-high 10.6 assists per game, will try to lead his third different team to a title, after winning championships with Miami Heat (two) and Cleveland Cavaliers (one). Lakers fans are hoping to celebrate a new title for the team in October, and if it happens, James will probably get most of the credit for that. However, there are reasons to believe that he will not win the MVP award.

First of all, LeBron has said at the beginning of the 2019-2020 season before this hiatus that regular MVP season award has never motivated him. Instead, he has always played to be the best of all time. Also, it's fair to say that his teammates will play a vital part too in Orlando, especially Anthony Davis, another NBA superstar.

And last but not least, LeBron and the Lakers will find their main rivals with Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks have been outstanding before the league went on hiatus because of the pandemic, with Giannis averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.

The thing is that there's a lot of expectation around who will be the regular season's MVP and, of couse, who will win the NBA title. LeBron is not exactly thrilled with the idea of remaining in the Orlando bubble, but still we all expect another MVP level performance fomr the league’s most high-profile and influential player.
