This year's regular-season is something we had never seen in any major sports league. The NBA MVP won't have to play a full 82-game schedule to earn the award, as the season was shortened and there are just 8 remaining games to the 60+ every franchise had played.

Most people already had their minds set regarding this year's awards. Whether it was MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, or whatever; only a major turn of events could make the media go a different way to what they had already decided.

But, then again, this has been one of the most exciting MVP races we've seen. The same can be said for pretty much every single regular-season award. To put it in context, we'll let you know about the odds for every 2020 NBA award.
