It’s been said over and over that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. He’s one of the most influential players in NBA history and a guy that – for better or worse – has changed the game.
Even so, some people still doubt his ability to lead a team on his own because he’s had top-tier teammates for most of his career, so he’s one of the superstars under the most pressure in the league right now.
Nonetheless, it seems like Steph thrives under pressure, as he just posted the most impressive performance of his career, going off for a career-high 62 points to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Portland Trail Blazers.
Steph took 31 shots and knocked down half of them, including 8/16 from beyond the arc, and perhaps the most ‘redeeming’ part of that performance was the fact that he had to score 62 to beat the Blazers by 10.
Needless to say, the internet went bonkers after watching the 3-time NBA Champion putting up a performance for the ages, finally putting the slander at ease. Check out the funniest memes and reactions.

Trying to criticize or demeanor what Stephen Curry has done in the league is just flat out petty. He’s one of the best to ever do it and a guy that’s a lock to make it to the Hall of Fame and have his jersey retired.
He shouldn’t have to score 62 points for his team to win a game but if that’s what it takes to make the playoffs with this subpar roster, then so be it. If anyone can do it, that’s definitely Stephen Curry, so don’t you dare count him out or doubt him ever again.
