Stephen Curry now holds one of the worst records in Golden State Warriors history

Stephen Curry holds multiple records in Golden State Warriors' franchise history, but he definitely won't be proud of his most recent stat line.

Good players are great at something but the greatest players are those who find a way to impact the game even when things aren’t going their way. That’s why Stephen Curry is one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Curry simply couldn’t buy a bucket last night when his Golden StateWarriors hosted the Toronto Raptors, having the worst shooting night of his impressive career. Still, he made some huge plays down the stretch and helped get his teammates involved.

Stephen finished the night with just 11 points on 2/16 shooting (1/10 from beyond the arc, 6/6 from the free-throw line), adding 9 rebounds and 6 assists on a narrow 106-105 win, but he still was a +/- +17.

Stephen Curry Ties The Worst Shooting Record In Warriors History

But even despite the win and all the little things he did to help his team pull it off, Curry still entered the Golden State Warriors’ record books for the worst reasons, as he tied David Lee, Klay Thompson, and Baron Davis for the worts shooting game in franchise history.

Gladly for Steve Kerr’s team, Andrew Wiggins (17), Kelly Oubre Jr (12), Draymond Green (10), James Wiseman (10), Eric Paschall (15), and Damion Lee (13) all chipped in and scored in double-digits to pick up the slack.

The Toronto Raptors have done an outstanding job of messing with Curry’s rhythm since the 2019 NBA Finals so this line shouldn’t come as a surprise. Then again, we know that he’s not going to have these kinds of nights too often.
