NBA players have to endure tough training year-round. Contrary to popular belief, they don’t actually get that muchtime off to chill, have a drink, and live a somewhat ordinary life like the rest of us, especially if you’re playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

That’s why some of them may not be able to hold their booze like the average person. They’re athletes, they’re not supposed to be constantly drinking. Then again, that doesn’t matter when you win your first-ever NBA Championship.

And Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma surely lived up to that, as he didn’t even want to talk to the media to continue partying and admitted that he was half-drunk from all the champagne that was thrown and drank in the locker room.

Kuzma Admits He’s Half-Drunk, Claims He Doesn’t Know How To Act

“Let’s make this quick, guys… I’m half drunk right now from the champagne, so I don’t know how to act right now exactly,” a clearly ecstatic and shirtless Kyle Kuzma told the media after the game.

Kyle Kuzma was heavily criticized all year for his regression, as he was supposed to break out as the Lakers’ third star this season behind Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Clearly, he struggled to find his rhythm in the offensive end when he had to come off the bench.

In fact, some diehard Los Angeles Lakers fans even started a petition to ban him from getting aring should his team win the NBA Finals vs. the Miami Heat, which is ruthless, to say the least.

Still, he took a major step forward in the defensive end and hit some huge shots in the playoffsto help the Lakers clinch their league-leading 17th NBA Championship. So yeah, Kyle, drink up, this is your moment, don’t let anyone take that away from you.
