Fan claims LeBron insulted her, threatnes to 'f*ck him up' before being ejected

It’s safe to say that LeBron James is a polarizing figure around the NBA. Ever since he made it to the league in 2003, the people have either loved him or hated him and there’s just no in-between. That’s why it’s not unusual to see dozens of fans heckling him, calling him out, and even insulting him every single time he sets foot on the road, regardless of all the things he’s accomplished throughout his career. Sadly, that was again in full display when the Los Angeles Lakers star visited the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

The Lakers and Hawks were going back-and-forth in quite an exciting game. The young Atlanta team wasn’t intimidated by the reigning champions and they were exchanging buckets from the very start of the game.

Then, all of a sudden, the referees had to stop the action because of something that wasn’t even happening on the hardwood. Apparently, a couple of fans sitting courtside started heckling LeBron James, who didn’t hesitate to fire back at them.

Girl Says LeBron James Insulted Her, So She Went At Him

James and a fan started trading jabs. The referee heard what happened and security escorted the fan and his wife out of the court. The girl, however, wasn’t going to down quietly, as she started threatening LeBron before sharing her thoughts on social media:

“Just got kicked out of the game to for talking sh*t to LeBron James for talking sh*t to my f*cking husband. This is such f*cking bullsh*t. Listen, let me tell you, LeBron James looked at my husband during the game and cussed him out. And I stood up and I go, ‘Don’t f*cking talk to my husband! Talk to my husband one more time and I will f*ck you up!’ And he started fighting with me, he goes, ‘Shut your mouth, dumb b*itch,’ and I go, ‘You shut your f*cking mouth b*tch’,” the girl said.

“Chris has been a Hawks fan forever. He’s been watching the games for 10 years, whatever. He has this issue with LeBron. I don’t have an issue with LeBron, I don’t give a f*ck about LeBron. Anyway, I’m minding my own business, drinking my wine, having fun. All of a sudden, LeBron says something to my husband. And I see this, and I stand up and go, ‘Don’t f*cking talk to my husband!’ And he looks at me and he goes, ‘Sit the f*ck down b*tch.’ And I go, ‘Don’t f*cking call me a b*tch, you sit the f*ck down. Get the f*ck out of here.’ And I go, ‘Don’t f*cking talk to my husband like that, don’t talk to my husband!’ And he literally was like, ‘F*ck you b*tch, sit down b*tch’. And all of a sudden now I’m getting kicked out. Excuse me, I have courtside seats that I paid for. F*ck you LeBron, you’re a f*cking p*ssy, get the f*ck out of here. You’re going to let a 25-year-old girl intimidate you during a game? Bye b*tch,” she concluded.

LeBron James Says He Missed The Fans

James, however, didn’t want to make it that big of a deal, claiming that he missed the fans and the interactions with them and that they should’ve just moved on from it but the referee didn’t like what he heard:

“My guy tonight, he went a little bit out of bounds. Too close to comfort for me. And I said my peace and we could’ve moved on. But it was so close to the official, so I think the official heard what he said. It got blown out of proportion,” James started.

“The difference: We’re on the court so we’re not having any alcoholic beverages. It made them feel a little tougher than they already are (…) I miss that interaction. I need that interaction. I don’t feel like they were warranted to get kicked out. There was a back and forth between two grown men. They had a couple of drinks, maybe,” he concluded.

Now, this will go down as one of the most hilarious NBA moments in modern history, and the legend of ‘Courtside Karen’ – as LeBron and the rest of the basketball community named her – will go on for decades.
