The New York Jets want Aaron Rodgers to feel very comfortable with the team. For this reason, they have signed another ex-Packer, the fourth so far, that played alongside the Super Bowl XLV champion.

Rodgers had several requests to the Jets in order to sign with them. They were really interested in adding the former Green Bay Packers quarterback, so they fulfilled almost all of them.

However, the quarterback still has some desired names on his list. The team has recently signed a new player who happens to be one of Aaron’s former teammates, so he’ll recognize him in the locker room.

Aaron Rodgers is building the roster he wants at the New York Jets. He was unable to convince Odell Beckham Jr. to join his cause, but almost all the other players he has requested have signed with the AFC East squad.

The New York Jets were close to getting a spot in the Wild Card round last year with a 7-10 record. Rodgers’ arrival is set to change this and the team’s front office really expects that the quarterback leads them to the AFC East title, but obviously not alone.

The Jets signedwide receiver Allen Lazard, wide receiver Malik Taylor, and backup quarterback Tim Boyle this offseason. All three of them were Rodgers’ teammates at the Packers, but now they have added another one.

NFL Media reported that the Packers closed a $3.15 million, one-yeardeal with offensive tackle Billy Turner. He was a starter in Rodgers’ offense at Green Bay from 2019 to 2021.
