Aaron Rodgers' future seemed to be up in the air just a few months ago before the 2021 NFL regular season got underway. But once he and the front office left their feud behind - at least momentarily - the atmosphere in Green Bay wasn't that bad anymore.

Not even the shocking, 38-3 defeat to the New Orleans Saints in the opening week made things fall apart as the Packers put it together and went on to win their six following games.

Rodgers and company head into Week 8's Thursday Night Football matchup with the Arizona Cardinals riding on a 6-1 record, which may explain why the veteran quarterback is feeling so good at Lambeau Field after all he's been through in the summer.

Aaron Rodgers is having 'the time of his life' in Green Bay

Who could have said a few months ago this is how Rodgers would be feeling by now. Things have taken a huge twist as he ended up staying with the Packers, who are now flying in the National Football League.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Rodgers admitted to be living a fantastic moment in Green Bay. "I got my best friend in the league (Randall Cobb) back to go to work with every day," Rodgers said. "I got the funniest dude in the world to drive down to practice with every day in David Bakhtiari. I got a great coaching staff that I love. I’m still in Green Bay and having the time of my life, and I get fun moments like this every single week.

“So, life is about perspective and I’m just daily counting the blessings that I have in life and just have so much gratitude for these moments. And for the fact that I'm 37 and I'm still playing at high level, still getting to have fun moments each week," he added.

Rodgers admits the importance of results

It's undeniable that the 37-year-old is really enjoying his time in Green Bay right now, and that may have a lot to do with the teams' performances this season. And Rodgers knows that.

“Obviously, winning cures a lot of that,” he said, as quoted by Clutchpoints. “We had a rough first week and the world outside the facility was kind of on top of us, and I’m just so proud of our guys to stay the course and to not panic and start pointing fingers and the other bull---- that usually happens when you have a dud like that.”

Regardless of what he decides next year, Aaron Rodgers seems to have left the offseason saga behind to lead the Packers to a deep run. Ahead of the TNF clash with Arizona, Rodgers has 68.3 completion percentage this season, having thrown for 1,710 yards, scoring 15 touchdowns and getting just three interceptions.
