The sting of their recent Super Bowl loss to the Eagles still lingers, fueling a strong hunger for redemption. The Kansas City Chiefs are determined to make it back to the big stage, and building a roster that can rise to the occasion will be crucial. With Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes leading the way, the dream of lifting another Vince Lombardi Trophy remains very much alive.

The arrival of new players has forced the team to make room on the roster, leading the franchise to inform several familiar faces that they will no longer be part of the first team in Missouri.

According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson via his official X account (formerly Twitter), tight end Kevin Foelsch and offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr. have been released by the Chiefs and will now have to look for new opportunities elsewhere.

Back to being the best

After falling short against the Eagles in their most recent Super Bowl appearance, the Chiefs are heading into the new season with a renewed sense of urgency. The disappointment still lingers, but it’s also fueling a team that knows what it takes to win at the highest level. With a revamped roster and key veterans still in place, Kansas City will once again be one of the most watched teams in the league.

Travis Kelce is set to return for at least one more campaign, giving Patrick Mahomes his most trusted target as the Chiefs look to maintain their offensive identity. His presence in the locker room also provides invaluable leadership for a group aiming to reclaim its dominance.

The QB, still at the peak of his powers, enters the season determined to lead Andy Reid’s squad back to the top of the AFC West—and beyond. With a combination of elite talent, playoff experience, and one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL, Kansas City isn’t just chasing another division title. They’re focused on one thing: bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Arrowhead.
