The Dallas Cowboys know they owe something to their fans, and the upcoming NFL season presents a great opportunity for redemption. CeeDee Lamb will now have George Pickens as a new weapon alongside him in the receiving corps, and many believe this duo could form one of the most dangerous offenses in the league.

There’s no doubt that Dez Bryant is one of the most iconic figures of America’s Team in recent years, which makes his opinion carry significant weight. The former wide receiver knows his team has a real chance to achieve big things—mainly due to the offensive firepower Brian Schottenheimer’s unit is expected to bring.

In a recent conversation with the media, Bryant expressed his excitement about what these receivers can accomplish together starting in Week 1, warning that the Cowboys won’t be an easy team to face.

“It opens up a lot,” Bryant told Fox Sports. “I don’t know how you don’t be successful with George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb on the field at the same time. It’s going to cause a lot of trouble. Schotty got to get in there and figure out the best scheme to score points. If we score points, we’re good.”

The Cowboys’ disappointing results last season led to the departure of Mike McCarthy. Ahead of the new campaign, the team made the decision to appoint Brian Schottenheimer—who previously served as the offensive coordinator—as the new head coach.

“I love everything he’s been doing as of late,” Bryant said. “You gotta give him his credit. He’s got the energy flowing in the building, the guys are happy to be there, and the guys would run through a wall for him. So, I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going on.”
