While this stretch of the offseason is often seen as the most intense—where final details are fine-tuned to ensure the team is ready for Week 1—unexpected issues can still arise on the field, and they’ll need to be addressed without delay.

Jackson, a two-time league MVP, is determined to lead his team back into the spotlight as one of the NFL’s top contenders. While certain disconnects have been noticeable in recent practices, the former Louisville standout remains confident in his ability to keep improving and be at his best come the debut.

“I feel like our offense, there’s always room for improvement in camp,” the talented quarterback stated, via a transcript from the team. “We have good days; we have bad days; we have OK days; we have great days, but I feel like there’s always room for improvement. We’re right where we need to be right now.”

The challenge of improving on what’s been done

The sting from the Ravens’ last outing under John Harbaugh—against the Bills—still lingers. The thirst for redemption is very much alive, and the start of a new season brings renewed hope for better results moving forward.

It won’t be an easy task, as Baltimore will have to battle tough divisional rivals like the Steelers, Browns, and Bengals. Each of them, in their own way, has shown serious intent to make a run at the next Super Bowl.
