Aaron Rodgers is undoubtedly one of the biggest storylines of this NFL offseason, and his potential future in a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform remains a major question mark. His signing is still up in the air, prompting one of the team’s minority owners to make an intriguing comment on the matter.
As time goes by, doubts surrounding the potential arrival of the veteran QB to Mike Tomlin’s squad continue to grow, as Rodgers has yet to make any definitive statement about the decision he plans to make in the near future.
During a recent appearance on CNBC (via Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com), Thomas Tull — one of the Steelers’ minority owners — was asked about the situation surrounding the former Packers and Jets quarterback, which has dragged on much longer than initially expected.
“I’m here to talk about AI, and that’s a more complex issue than artificial intelligence,” Tull stated.

Will Rodgers finally land in Pittsburgh?
The Rodgers-Steelers saga appears to be nearing its final chapter, though the former Super Bowl champion’s signing continues to be delayed. In recent statements to the press, Art Rooney reaffirmed his intention to bring the former Jets quarterback to Pittsburgh.

“We’re still kind of getting the same signals we’ve been getting recently that he does want to come here,” Rooney said. “I do think we may get word soon, obviously, with things starting to crank up here with the offseason programs. If he’s coming, we would like to get him here soon for some of that.”
The void left by Wilson and Fields in recent NFL moves pushed the Steelers to act quickly in search of a high-caliber replacement. From day one, the target was Aaron Rodgers — and all signs now point to that goal being fulfilled in the near future.
