The Buffalo Bills came close to making history in the 2024 NFL playoffs but fell short against the Kansas City Chiefs in the conference finals. Josh Allen won the MVP award, but it wasn’t enough to secure a Super Bowl victory. As a result, the team has been active in the offseason, adding Joey Bosa and finalizing the arrival of a former Pittsburgh Steelers player to strengthen their roster.

The black & gold team is in the process of rebuilding after failing to win a postseason game in the last eight years. The departure of Justin Fields to the New York Jets leaves the Steelers needing to resolve their starting quarterback situation. However, in recent hours, they released a defender and strengthened their roster with a potential postseason contender.

Bosa is a star addition to the Bills, bringing in a prominent NFL figure. The 29-year-old defensive end leaves the Los Angeles Chargers to join Allen’s team after being pursued by multiple franchises. He is not the only defensive player joining the AFC East team.

The Buffalo Bills signed defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi to a one-year, $8.3 million deal after his release from the Steelers. Ogunjobi had a strong 2024 season with Pittsburgh, recording 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. His addition is aimed at bolstering Buffalo’s defensive line for the 2025 season.

The arrivals of Ogunjobi and Bosa aim to strengthen Buffalo’s defensive line for 2025, addressing the weaknesses and mistakes from the previous season. The former Steelers player brings valuable experience in both run defense and pass rush, crucial for improving Buffalo’s overall defensive performance.
