The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback recently revealed who he considers the toughest edge rusher he’s faced — and surprisingly, it’s not T.J. Watt or Myles Garrett.
While the league is stacked with elite talent at this important defensive position, the multiple-time Super Bowl champion pointed to a conference rival as the one who gives him the most trouble every time they go head-to-head.
In a recent conversation with reporter Kay Adams, Mahomes named Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby as his toughest rival — a fierce competitor he has to face at least twice each season.
“To me, he’s the best pass rusher I’ve played against,” he stated in a recent appearance on the Up & Adams Show.
