Super Bowl LV is just around the corner, which means that millions of fans are already analyzing the game and even placing their bets. Obviously, when two incredibly talented teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs meet for the ultimate prize, making a prediction could be pretty tough, even for the biggest NFL connoiseurs. At the end of the day, we’re talking aboutTom Brady and Patrick Mahomes going at each other for the eternal glory, so anything can happen.

Then again, if someone knows a thing or two about those teams, it has to be one of their colleagues. That’s why Atlanta Falcons’ Matt Ryan took the time to make his prediction ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

And, even though he admitted it was painful to admit it, Ryan thinks that their NFC South woes – the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – have the edge in this matchup and that Tom Brady will win his seventh’ ring.

“As much as it pains me to say that I felt like their (Tampa’s) defense was one of the most difficult for us to go against, we had to face them twice,Offensively, they’ve gotten better the entire year and I think they’re playing their best football right now. I think it’s going to be a close game; both of those teams are really good,” Ryan said on 680 The Fan’s “The Front Row”.

Well, Matt Ryan and the Falcons dropped back-to-back games to Tom Brady’s Buccaneers this season so he definitely knows what he’s talking about. Also, it seems like Bruce Arians’ team is peaking at the right time.

Brady was far from himself during the second half of the NFC Championship Game but he’s the guy you want to bet against when the season is on the line. Matt Ryan should know it firsthand, as his team wasted a huge lead in Super Bowl LI to his New England Patriots.
