If there’s someone who has plenty of reasons to look forward to the 2020 NFL season, that’s definitely Tom Brady, as the legendary quarterback will be under center for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the first time after two decades with the New England Patriots.

Brady decided to shock the world and bet on himself this offseason. He left Foxborough and Bill Belichick and signed a two-year, fully-guaranteed deal with the Buccaneers, which was a risky move for them considering his age.

Then again, Brady isn’t your average 42-year-old. He takes great care of his body and is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, so “gambling” on him despite not getting any younger was the safest bet a team looking to contend could make.

That’s why Tom Terrific is absolutely hyped and excited about the start of the 2020-21 NFL season, as he’s determined to prove that he’s still got it and is not just a system quarterback as his haters claim.

Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a tough matchup for week 1, though, as they’ll visit the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to face Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and the New Orleans Saints.

Getting an upset win on the road vs. the best team in the NFC South will certainly make a statement for Bruce Arians and the Super Bowl-craving Buccs, and they’ve definitely done their job to surround Brady by elite talent.

The Buccaneers recently signed Leonard Fournette after he cleared waivers to add to an already impressive core of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, OJ Howard, and Ronald Jones II, so Brady definitely has a lot of weapons at his disposal.
