PSG is starting to think about life after Kylian Mbappe, with recent reports that the French World Cup winner is set to leave PSG ahead of a free transfer move to Real Madrid, the French club is starting to look at other options. That option seems to be Mohamed Salah, whose contract with the Reds ends in 2023.

Salah and Liverpool have begun contract talks but that does not mean he is not considering other options and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, PSG have gone after the Egyptian forward before and consider him the right replacement for Mbappe.

During his time at Liverpool Mohamed Salah has been nothing short of sensational, with some pundits at the moment considering him the best player in the World. Salah has 101 goals in 152 appearances for Liverpool and has won 4 titles with the club. Salah is also on the radar of Manchester City, who is rumored to be willing to make a £75m bid for the forward. Here are more details of Mohamed Salah to PSG.

Mohamed Salah to PSG in the summer

According to Fabrizio Romano, "Salah is still in negotiations with Liverpool. From what I'm told, he loves Liverpool, the fans, the city, everything. But there is no agreement yet for a new contract. We should keep an eye on some clubs this summer if players leave like Kylian Mbappé. But until next summer, Liverpool's priority will be to extend Salah's contract."

Nonetheless PSG is not sitting around waiting and could swoop in for Salah as Romano reported, "From what I am told, PSG were studying the possibility of recruiting Salah early in the summer, in June, if Mbappe was sold to Real Madrid. They were prepared to do something big, and they wanted to try it out with Salah."

Salah at 29-years-old still has many seasons of world class soccer in him and while his priority is to stay at Liverpool, he will have offers from some of the best teams in the world, and a chance to play with Messi and Neymar may be too good to pass up.
