Peter Schmeichel (October 2001:Everton 2-3 ASTON VILLA)

Just in the 10th season was a goalkeeper able to actually hit the net in the Premier League and it was Peter Schmeichel who was in Aston Villa for the last few years. In the 90th minute, the legend from Manchester United launched an amazing volleyball at the rear of Steve Staunton’s late corner, but it was only a relief, as they traveled 3-1 and were not able to find an equal. In his career, Schmeichel scored thirteen goals, including a Manchester United equalizer in a UEFA Cup tie in 1996.

Like Schmeichel, Brad Friedel came to a halt corner and shot a fantastic striker to a 2-2 drama in Blackburn’s match against Charlton apparently. But his equalizer wasn’t too late, as Claus Jensen scored a last-start winner quickly digging the ball out of his own net.

Paul Robinson (March 2007: TOTTENHAM 3-1 Watford)

Tottenham led Watford 1-0 when Paul Robinson took a fatal bounce from 75 meters over Hornets goalkeeper Ben Foster’s head and into the grid, freeing himself from the start. In a comfortable 3-1, Hossam Ghaly turned out to be a third late before the consolation of Darius Henderson, but this wasn’t the first time that Robinson thought that he was leading a last-minute equaliser for Leeds with Swindon back in 2003.

Tim Howard (January 2012: EVERTON 1-2 Bolton)

Freak winds and a freak bounce combined support the 101-yard clearance circuit of Tim Howard over Adam Bogdan from Bolton. But his sportsmanship won no karma points for him as the toffees lost 2 -1 due to the goals of David and Gary Cahilli. Everton failed to cheer out of his love for Bogdan.
