Once again, Barcelona failed to claim three much-needed points and their La Liga championship hopes seem to be over.Ronald Koeman‘s side couldn’t hold onto their lead and Levante stunned them with an unexpected 3-3 tie that may leave the Blaugranas out of the title race.
Lionel Messi and Pedri put Barça in front in the first half, and it seemed like they were going to get an important result to keep on chasing Atletico Madrid. However, the visitors never gave up and tied the match twice.
First, Levante put themselves level with two quick goals in two minutes, and then they bounced back after Dembélé netted the third one for the Catalans. Sergio León’s late equalizer shocked Barca and soccer fans reacted to the result with hilarious memes.
