Chile and Brazil face each other for Matchday 9 of the Conmebol World Cup Qualifiers 2022 today, September 2, at Estadio Monumental David Arellano. Their most recent encounter took place in the quarterfinals of the Copa America 2021, when Brazil won 1-0. This game can be watched in the US with FuboTV.

The hosts are currently seventh in the standings of the Qualifying tournament and they have to start adding points if they want a chance to go to Qatar 2022. However, the first test of this international window won’t be easy for Martin Lasarte’s men, despite Brazil coming without some of their best players due to the European league restrictions.

The visitors are coming into this match after a tough defeat in the Copa America final against Argentina. However, they will likely forget their woes to try to remain unbeaten in the Qualifying tournament, in which they are atop of the standings with 18 points.
