The all-elusive Saudi Pro League title is not slipping Al Nassr hands if they manage to beat Al Hilal on May 12. The Riyadh Derby could be the sweetest victory for the team since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, who took to his socials to send a motivational message to everyone involved with the club.

CR7 is the captain of the team, but since he arrived to Al Nassr, the team hasn’t been able to win any silverware besides the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup (not recognized as an official title by FIFA or the AFC). For an organization that has poured so much money into buying its way to success, it’s time to get the prestigious Saudi Pro League title.

Ronaldo is third on the Saudi Pro League top-scorer list. Ivan Toney is first with 31 goals, followed by Julian Quiñones with 29, while Ronaldo has 26. Hence, the top-scorer title might be tough to achieve, but if he scores and helps Al Nassr win the Saudi Pro League, it won’t matter if he doesn’t end up as top scorer.
