The Saudi Pro League is slowly gearing up for a new season, and some fresh faces are already starting to appear across teams. Al Nassr, a perennial title contender, have appointed Jorge Jesus as head coach — and Cristiano Ronaldo wasted no time in welcoming him.

As is often the case with the Portuguese star, his reactions to certain events are usually shared through his social media, where CR7 is followed by millions of fans around the world.

This time, through his official Instagram account, the forward gave a warm welcome to his new coach with a brief two-word message in Portuguese: “Bem-vindo Mister (Welcome Coach), tagging Jorge Jesus’ account.

It’s worth noting that both Cristiano Ronaldo and the former Al Hilal coach were born in Portugal and share a connection with Sporting CP.
