Cruz Azul and Monterrey will face each other for the second leg of the Concacaf Champions League semifinal. Monterrey is up in the aggregate 1-0, but the hosts will want to fight to make a comeback at home.

They met for the first leg on August 11, 2021 at Estadio BBVA Bancomer. That night, Monterrey took a tight match thanks to the lone goal from Maximiliano Meza nine minutes into the match. Now, they want to take advantage of the win to get into the final.
