Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain arrived at Inter Miami during the summer, and now his brother Federico has joined him. After 15 years, the Higuain brothers have been reunitied now thanks to former English soccer player and current owner of Inter Miami, David Beckham.

Gonzalo and Federico have become the 18th pair of siblings to have ever played together in the MLS. The 35-year-old Federico left DC United where he played the role of player-manager. Prior to that, the forward played for another MLS side, Columbus Crew.

Gonzalo and Federico have previously played together only at River Plate. Both left the club in 2007 but Federico spent his two final years of his spell on loan at Nueva Chicago.

The 32-year-old striker will become the highest-paid football player in the MLS, with an annual salary of whopping $8.8 million. Prior to his move, Javier Hernandez 'Chicharito' used to be on the top with a salary of $7.2 million.

Gonzalo Higuain spent the last four seasons at Juventus, despite the fact that he was loaned to AC Milan and Chelsea during the season 2018-2019. Overall, he scored 66 goals and added another 16 assists in 149 games for the Bianconeri.
