It would be normal to think that there’s nothing that couldruin your night when you scored a brace after your team was trailing by two in a Champions League game. However, Antoine Griezmann found a way to do so.
The French superstar made the Wanda Metropolitano gowild when he put two past Liverpool to put things level after a poor start to the game by Atletico Madrid. The former Barcelona forward was having a great night, yet he ruined what could have been a memorable performance.
Griezmann was sent off early in the second half for a reckless challenge on Roberto Firmino throwing an unnecessary, karate kick that led to hilarious memes on the Internet. Here, check out some of them.

Griezmann could have capped off a fantastic night in Madrid by helping his team to have a quick recovery from a slow start but he ended up leaving Diego Simeone‘s side down to ten men.
And the way he was sent off left a lot to be desired. So, shortly after his ugly challenge earned him a red card, it wasn’t surprising to see how many fans were all over social media sharing the best memes of the night.
