Guadeloupe and Jamaica face off today at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando for Matchday 2 of Concacaf Gold Cup 2021. After winning their two matches in the Prelims, Guadeloupe was defeated 3-1 by Costa Rica in their opening match. Joel Campbell and Ariel Lassiter opened the score, and despite Raphael Mirval was able to shorten distances, it wasn’t enough. Also, they lost Steve Loic Solvet, a defender, due to a red card.
On the other side, Jamaica had a pleasant start in the Gold Cup thanks to goals from Shamar Nicholson and Bobby Reid, which gave them the victory over Suriname. Now, Jamaica wants to keep on the right track to advance into the next round.
