The Canucks were quickly in the lead thanks to an impressive free-kick goal from Stephen Eustáquio only five minutes into the game. The game remained quiet until the break, but early in the second half, Canada increased the difference through Cyle Larin. Haiti, however, put some drama to the game as Stephane Lambese pulled one back. Later, Larin and Junior Hoilett increased the difference with a penalty goal each. Francois Dulysse of Haiti saw the red card in the 78th minute.
