After failing against the United States in the opening match (1-0), Haiti come to the clash against Canada with zero points and a tough challenge ahead. They are in need of a win if they still want to reach the next round, but Les Grenadiers haven’t been able to bounce back from a defeat in two years.

Haiti vs Canada: Storylines
Canada and Haiti are familiar foes. They have faced each other in eleven matches, with the Canadians claiming seven victories. Haiti has two wins and they have drawn two times. However, they have met twice this year.
The North American nation has reasons to feel confident, not only because of their win in the previous match, but because they have beaten Haiti this year in two matches for the Concacaf World Cup Qualifying.
However, Haiti has some hope if they remember their last match in the tournament. In the 2019 Gold Cup, Canada was winning 2-0 in their quater-final match but Haiti turned things around and ended up winning 3-2.
