Defender Jorge Sanchez put the national team coached by Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino ahead, but Jonatha Osorio equalized for the visitors three minutes before the end of the first half. With the draw, the USMNT finished the round at the top of the standings.

Tata’s Martino will want to get a victory at home to keep dominating the Octagonal. Mexico are at the top of the standings with two victories and one draw. El Tri started their campaign defeating Jamaica and Costa Rica, but then they were held to a draw by Panama in their last match.

Canada, on the other hand, got their first victory in the tournament against El Salvador (3-0). Before that, Les Rouges drew their first two matches against Honduras and the United States. Both matches ended up in a 1-1 result.
