Lionel Messi‘s era in Barcelona is part of the past now. It’s been an unforgettable road full of success and great memories, but the Argentine star is about to begin a new chapter in his life. He seems to be on the verge of joining PSG, who have reportedly booked the Eiffel Tower for next week, according to journalist Verónica Brunati,as expectations for his arrival increase.

It’s no secret that Paris Saint-Germain have been long-time admirers of Messi, and they seem to have finally found the right moment to go after their dream target. The 34-year-old is a free agent after failing to sign a new deal with Barca and Paris would only have to afford his salary.

The Ligue 1 team has moved wisely in the transfer window, bringing in big-name players who were on the market to set up one of the mightiest teams in the history of the game. Now, they seem to be preparing a big party to announce Messi.

Signing Lionel Messi is something that no other club thanBarca has accomplished so far. Needless to say, we’re talking about one of the greatest of all time and arguably the world’s best right now, so PSG would have to make their best efforts at the time of announcing his arrivalif it takes place.

Paris are no strangers at the time of making big announcements, and nowthey seem to be preparing an even bigger one. Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly booked the Eiffel Tower for Tuesday, August 10, apparently to unveil Lionel Messi’s signing.

Not long ago they did the same thing when they landed Neymar, who was also presented at the Eiffel Tower. Big signings demand big announcements, and PSG seem to have that very clear to reveal one of the most important signings in the game’s history.
