Transfer rumors won't stop making the headlines regardless if the transfer window has been closed for more than a month. Bayern Munich and Barcelona are already thinking about the long term and they reportedly set their sights on an Ajax sensation.

The Bundesliga giants are yet to resolve Kingsley Coman's future as the France international hasn't accepted a contract extension so far and could continue his career somewhere else in Europe.

Therefore, the Bavarians would start to prepare for alternatives if the former PSG and Juventus forward eventually leaves the club. One of the candidates they'd have in mind is in the Eredivisie. Meanwhile, the Blaugranas may also have this player on their shortlist.

Ajax set €40m valuation for young star amid Bayern, Barcelona interest

According to Sky, Bayern would be eyeing Ajax right-winger Antony, who has been linked to Barcelona before. The report claims that the four-time UEFA Champions League winners will demand at least €40 million ($46.4m) to release him.

The Brazilian young forward has landed in Amsterdam in the summer of 2020 for nearly €16m from Sao Paulo and has quickly adapted to European soccer. Antony, 21, racked up nine goals and eight assists in 32 appearances in his first season in the Dutch top-flight.

He continued in great form at the beginning of the current campaign, scoring twice and providing two assists in eight games. His market value is €25m, according to Transfermarkt, but Ajax are well aware that his stock would only rise if he keeps on delivering impressive performances.
