Boston Celtics will start a new preseason on Friday against the Denver Nuggets. And two stars of the team, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/jaylen-brown">Jaylen Brown</a> and Jayson Tatum, are ready to defend the title in the NBA.



To accomplish the goal, Brown and <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/jayson-tatum">Tatum</a> need to demonstrate that their last season’s level was not a matter of luck. After the criticism that surrounded the key Celtics’ players, they’ll be looking to bring the trophy home again.

There is no room for an error. After the loss against the New York Mets in Game 1 of the 2024 MLB Wild Card Series, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/milwaukee-brewers">Milwaukee Brewers</a> and Willy Adames know that they need a win to have a chance to get through the next round.



Adames is already thinking about what will happen on Wednesday in Game 2, but needs to get over an episode that occurred with a former Brewers teammate on Tuesday’s match. After a video of him exchanging words with Jesse Winker surfaced, the Brewers star set the record straight.



“I don’t know what was going on through his head, but he just started saying some stuff and I just say something back, you know,” Adames said, via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.



The episode left him and the fans surprised because they used to have a good relationship when they played together in Milwaukee: “I think that’s, you know, the kind of player he is. Just it is what it is and it’s disappointing.”

“We’re going to come out and give the 100% out there. And you know we got to win, or we go home,” told Adames, via Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.



Therefore, Milwaukee Brewers need to get back on track in this series with a victory in Game 2. If they don’t want to finish this season earlier, Adames has to be one of the key players.

On one side, King’s throws made Atlanta uncomfortable. And in the other, Tatis Jr. hit the only HR in the game for San Diego and provoked a bunch of reactions, even from his teammates.



After Game 1, King recalled the HR from Tatis Jr, via ESPN MLB: “I was sitting in the Dugout and I couldn’t see him, but I heard it because the crack of the bat was louder than the fans you knew it was hit really hard.”



Besides, King revealed his feelings about the play from Tatis Jr. that led to the win against Atlanta: “Then I looked up, and I thought it was going out of the stadium. The thing was mashed, so huge for me and for the plan that I had.”

King’s performance against Atlanta not only helped San Diego to win Game 1 of Wild Card Series, but it also placed him on a historical list in the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/mlb">MLB</a>. He made it to the 9th best strikeouts on a first career postseason start with 12,000 versus Braves.

One of the reasons for King’s mark could be the sensation he felt with the fans at the stadium in the first postseason game: “I didn’t realize was going to be so loud and so cool hearing them for literally everybody on our roster, it was really special and pitching in front of them is something that I absolutely love.”

His coach, Brian Callahan, was worried until backup, Mason Rudolph, played an excellent role to get the team’s first win in the 2024 NFL season.



The extent of Levis’ injury has yet to be confirmed, as Callahan suggested after the game against the Dolphins. But the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/tennessee-titans">Titans</a> head coach, apart from telling the press what happened to his QB, also sent a clear message about Levis’ future.



Rudolph’s solid performance on Monday Night Football, in which he recorded 85 passing yards, opened the debate about who should start for the next games of the 2024 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl">NFL</a> season. It was supposed to be difficult for the Titans HC to choose between the players, but now it seems clear what he’s going to do when Levis recovers.



“He’s our quarterback. It was not a decision based on anything other than his health and protecting him… he’s our starter and when he’s healthy, we are ready to roll with him,” Callahan said about Levis, via The Tennessean.

Shanahan also shed more light into Levis’ recovery time, revealing the Titans expect their starting quarterback to return this season: “I don’t think it is a season-ending injury, and we are waiting to the MRI and all that gets done.”
