In Week 2, when the Bears and Lions faced each other earlier this season, Williams threw for 207 yards. He has surpassed 270 passing yards only three times this year.

“I think it’s awesome to have this rivalry alive and well right now. We’ll get another chance at it here in two weeks,” Johnson said after the game. <h2>It was a close, tough game between two really good teams</h2>

Head coaches Matt LaFleur and Ben Johnson had a quick handshake filled with tension.

Williams is completing 61.1% of his passes for 1,351 yards and has thrown nine touchdowns to three interceptions. Caleb is improving but he is not a star QB yet. When he becomes that, this Bears offense will take a leap.

“We weren’t efficient enough in the passing game,” Johnson firmly stated to the press. “We’ll see why that was. I was hopeful by Week 6 we would play cleaner football than that.”
