<p>Leroux mentioned the <strong>Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat</strong> as ‘high-end’ teams who could use Westbrook to have depth at point guard. The Sixers and Heat, however, would only be on the mix if they lose James Harden and Gabe Vincent, respectively.</p>

They haven’t reached that stage ever since</p>

Now, owned by Michael Jordan — literally this time — they’ve struggled to be at their best, and they need to put more talent around<strong> LaMelo Ball</strong> to be a legit playoff team.</p>

That prevented them from giving Garnett the help he needed to reach the NBA Finals, and the franchise has been a bottom-feeder since he left.</p>

Now, they’re young and rebuilding.</p>

Then, nearly 30 years later, <strong>Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton</strong> suffered the same fate at the hands of <strong>Giannis Antetokounmpo.</strong></p>

<p>The team has already decided to part ways with coach<strong> Monty Williams</strong>, but he may not be the only casualty from this failed season. They need to retool their roster and add more pieces around their two stars.</p>

<p>Of course, Paul is no longer much of a factor as a scorer, but he’s still <strong>a pesky </strong>de<strong>fender </strong>and one of the best playmakers in the game. He’d be an interesting addition and a solid fit for their culture.</p>

<p>The only issue with bringing Paul back is that the Clippers haven’t been able to stay healthy. Adding another injury-prone star next to <strong>Kawhi Leonard and Paul George</strong> may not be wise.</p>
