Neither Lewandowski nor Ronaldo: Which XI players make L'Equipe's Team of the Year for 2022?

This sort of rivalry started when the Polish striker talked about the Ballon d&rsquo;Or the Argentinian received in 2021. Both stars were neck to neck in that race, but Messi ended up getting the trophy. Even though he said Lewandowski should have won it in 2020, the former Bayern player didn&rsquo;t like not winning it that year.

Earlier in the match Argentina had the opportunity to open the score with a penalty kicked by Messi. That finished in a save by Wojciech Szczesny. When the game ended both captains shook their hands, so that interaction may have just been because of all the tension he had been accumulating after that miss.

Argentina vs Poland: What happened between Messi and Lewandowski?

<h2>Why do soccer players wear face masks?</h2> 
All these soccer&nbsp;players and many more&nbsp;do wear masks, but it's not for show. These masks serve an important purpose in soccer, protecting players who have sustained facial injuries but are eager to return to the pitch and contribute to their team.&nbsp;New technologies mean that athletes who suffer a severe face injury may return to the field quickly while still appearing like a superhero out for payback. 
Trauma to the face is referred to as a <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/qatar2022/lucas-hernandez-joins-the-list-how-many-injuries-did-france-suffer-in-the-2022-world-cup-q22-20221122-0042.html" target="_blank">facial injury</a>. It might be anywhere on the face, including the chin, nose, ears, eyebrows, or skull. All of the aforementioned areas are potential sites of facial injury for a sportsperson.&nbsp;Injuries to the face may occur in any of these areas if a player is struck in the face by another player or hits their face on a hard surface.
