Andy Reid has lost an important member of his coaching staff with the Kansas City Chiefs. Through their social media channels, the team confirmed the retirement of Andy Hill.
The Chiefs sent an emotional message to Hill accompanied by a photo showcasing his accolades. “Thank you for helping us make our special teams extra special, Coach Hill. Congratulations on a well-earned retirement!”
Andy Hill worked as the Assistant Special Teams Coach with the team since the 2020 season, and during his time with the Chiefs, he won the Super Bowl twice, playing a key role in making his unit one of the best in the NFL.
Is Andy Reid retiring?
No. Andy Reid is not retiring. Although there were several rumors about a possible farewell after losing the Super Bowl against the Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs have nothing to worry about in the near future.
In Hill’s case, before joining the Chiefs, he spent over two decades working with the Missouri Tigers in college football, serving in various roles such as associate head coach, special teams coordinator, quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach, and co-offensive coordinator.
