The early strike clearly rattled the hosts, who spent the rest of the first half relentlessly pushing for an equalizer. However, PSG’s defensive discipline and a great performance between the posts by Matvey Safonov kept Bayern off the board.

With the aggregate score now sitting at 6-4 in favor of PSG, Bayern Munich head into the locker room needing a massive second-half turnaround to keep their dreams of a trip to the final in Budapest alive.
