France international and Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez isall over the news for the wrong reasons. A Spanishcourt has sentenced him to six months in prison for breaking a restraining order after being convicted for domestic violence in 2017.
Hernandez and his then girlfriend, Amelia Ossa Llorente, were imposed restraining orders after having a fightin February 2017, when the left-back was playing for Atletico Madrid.
But only a few months later they were seen together in Spaincoming back from their honeymoon and Hernandez was arrested. On Tuesday, he must show up in court and then he’ll have ten days to choose in which prison he’ll serve his sentence.

After a violent argument in February 2017 with his partner, who had to go to hospital with minor injuries, Lucas Hernandez was forbidden tobe500 meters within Ms Llorente.Both were given 31 days of community service, whilethe soccer player was convicted of domestic violence.
But, after seeing himreturning to Spain along with his wifein June 2017, Hernandez was arrested and received a suspended six-month prison sentence for breaking the restraining order.
A court document released on Wednesday read Hernandez’s appeal against itwas denied as he had two previous criminal sentences related to the incident in February 2017.He was ordered to appear in court in Madrid on October 19, to which Hernandez has also appealed against.
After five years with Atletico, Lucas Hernandez left the club in 2019 to join Bayern Munich for €80 million. He has 29 caps with France, with whom he wonthe 2018 World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League.
