Premier League champions Liverpool have officially confirmed that they have signed Thiago Alcantara from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Spaniard has signed a four-yearcontract with the Reds and will wear the No.6 in the 2020-21 Premier League season.

Thiago has left Bayern after seven years, and the value of the transfer is$35m with bonuses included. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Barcelona were also battling for the player’s signature.

The Spain international isLiverpool‘ssecond reinforcementthis summer after they brought inGreek defender Konstantinos Tsimikas. The EPL champions have so far spent$50m.
